Hi mrshud25, I have given it some thought and actually see no harm in using my name. I am Celestine Sims. I chose "Pendo" for my daughters name as I prefer to protect her identity. I hope it is okay.

Akinyi49, you have such an incredible story. I was entrenched in your story from the beginning. God bless you and your daughter. I feel a connection with you especially when you mentioned how you couldn't remember the rest of the vocabulary of the Dr. after he gave you the diagnosis. The words of Jeremiah's Dr. trailed off in my ears as well. You are a precious mom and writer.

very moving story. We are putting this anthology together so that people who receive the news that their child is autistic are not filled with dread, but hope and knowledge that everything will be ok. God has a place for autism. They are very special people in their own right and bring something to society that we can all learn from. The road may be tough but it is only because "normal" people can not comprehend the vast mind and soul of those with autism. Thank you for sharing this. Would love to read more.
