I need some graphical artwork for a childs book (Age about 4-8). It should be drawn 2D or modelled 3D with comic style.
There will be the main character, a young Pirate Boy at about the age of 10. His father and his mother are both senior Pirates. He is living in a small village at the seaside with a small harbour. He is going to the pirate school and owns a rowboat.
His dream is to become a real pirate with his own saiboat.

First phase of the project would be creating the setting and the style of the characters. Due to the fact that the goal is quite moving, I would estmate a batch of maximum 20 hours to get the basic look and setting.

Second phase (another project) would be creating the different scenes for the story.

  Hello, first step would be an example to get the right style/mood and the character. Later there will be specific scenes fitting the story. So maybe you could explain what you mean by "usual illustration"?
