EDIT: Looks like we need to clarify our needs.
We are NOT looking for a new AAHOA logo. We ARE looking for a **theme** for our 2017 convention, and the convention logo must "spin off" of the theme.
Past themes, for example: "Success by Design" (2016); "Power of Progress" (2015). These themes reflect AAHOA values and what we wanted to emphasize during those two years. In 2017, we want to emphasize education (as in, continuing professional education for hoteliers), so we'll need a theme that reflects that AND a logo to go with it. But NOT a new AAHOA logo.
We are seeking a logo, name and theme for our 2017 AAHOA Annual Convention & Trade Show. This event is set to take place in San Antonio, TX in April of 2017. This event brings about 5,000 hotel owners and vendors together for a four-day long conference that includes a large trade show, educational events, networking and big-name speakers and entertainers. We want a name, a theme and a logo (which includes a color palette, font types, relative imagery etc.) for the 2017 AAHOA Annual Convention & Trade Show.

We don't want to stress or emphasize a Gujarati theme, but it is helpful to know the journey that our members have been on. We want to keep it mainstream and appealing to a broad audience. So, you should know who our members are, but not appeal to solely them.
The attached file is the logo and theme ("Success by Design") for our 2016 convention. The other file is the log and theme ("Power of Progress") from the 2015 convention.
