He gave me exactly what I asked for in his very first design, but then submitted a design that I didn't even know I wanted until I saw his. Knowledgeable and talented. Wouldn't have changed a thing. Only reason I gave him a 4 star rating on communication was because some designers responed to my feedback within minutes. He always responded within hours. Apparently he was busy working on the perfect design so it was worth it. Would highly recommend!”

I hope in the future some of you learn to enjoy these contests more. I deleted 2 designers based on their negative attitude because didn't appreciate them hasseling the other designers. In the end it was important for me to find the design that was right for me and a designer that was easy to work with. Thanks to you designers that came through for me!

Sorry I took so long to respond- my internet went out this morning and I just got it fixed. Thank you for all of your feedback. Most were constructive. I did research to make sure that we can use photos and these images and found that as long as you as the designer have the permission to use them then we are fine. I'd like to give all of you guys that just submitted an entry some useful feedback, but I don't feel like you have the time to catch up to where these remaining designer have come. All of my polls are liking Freelander, but my personal preference is Tarakbr. I guess I'll give you guys a little bit more time, but I'm 99% sure I'm going with Tarakbr.
Again, I can't tell you guys how much I appreciate the time and effort put into this.

Looks like all but 2 changes are done. They all look amazing I'm having a very hard time deciding. How about any of you design experts that are or are not in this contest? I've been told #644 and #642 are the favorites in the polls.

  u take that logo u print that on every media & color like single color or two color or multicolor bcoz in future need of your business marketing u wont to do everything like t-shirt printing, mugs printing & also banner letterhead , glow sing & business card.......so care about your last choice bcoz after that u will not do any thing.

This is maybe one of the strangest contests I've been part of as people spend more time writing messages than working on the contest. First, there were complaints about this contest being a scam and the complainers saying the CH will eventually enter as a contestant with a different name and stealing others' ideas and later messages are by savvies warning the CH about the logos being cliparts or photos from the net being vectorized: If any of these have read the brief carefully they would read , quote:"I'd like to incorporate a photo of a live puppy". For those who don't know it, you can use photos from the net for commercial use if they are made Creative Commons under some conditions. I personally vectorized the pic only to meet the CH instructions as it is THEIR design and it is not about how i would want it to be. Some have created logos without cliparts or photos but they were not what the CH wanted and they were not chosen by the polls she made.

  I believe strongly that a designer's job is to meet his/her clients requirements and to give advice within the constraints of what the clients need and not impose his/her vision on them. It is about being hard working and respecting the client's choices and not about manipulating the CH through aggressive messages or showing off and pretending one is more knowledgeable. It is first and foremost about working hard to come up with something that reflects the CH's vision and ideas. I doubt whether bombarding a public clarification board, which is meant primarily to provide feedback and help the contestants and the CH communicate better, with fake warning about scams and raising doubts about others' entries is the best way to make CHs come back and to enjoy their experience here.

@pwpetsit: I'm sorry, I have to say you are about to waste your money on a 'logo' with pictures / cliparts from the net. Some pictures are vectorized, it's true... but not hand vectorized, just using automatic vector tracing and this doesn't look good at all and has nothing to do with logo design.

  I've seen here complaints about 'scam contests'. What about CH's complaints about designers using cliparts from the net? If I were CH I wouldn't pay for cliparts, I would like to have an unique design for my logo. Sorry, this is only my opinion. In the end it's CH's choice.

pwpetsit...i highly suggest that in using a logo, we as a graphic artist dont suggest actual pictures, cause quality will affect if you resize it to bigger one...if they can vector it, much better. if we are talking vector, iwsolution11 is only qualified. sorry for the other entry...i just want to help our CH to choose..the best logo...we as graphic artist must satisfy them, even if we lose in this contest...

Coming down to the wire here. I was hoping #500 and # 531 one would try their design with a kitten to compare. #537 is the cutest animated animals I've ever seen. Patrick031290 was the easiest to work with so I really appreciate that even though all of you were very cooperative except for two- not bad. But as always, I'm trying to be open and honest with all of you and I'm leaning towards one of Tarakbr's designs unless something changes my mind in the next 2 days. These last few designs were very close and you guys should all be proud that you made it this far past over 500 designs. You all are very talented and I appreciate all the time and effort it took to get here. I can't wait to see the final design and I'll let you guys know as soon as I know for sure. Thanks again.

DEAR ADMIN...i highly suggest that all logo or design contest here in freelance has a "blind" or hidden , where in the design are only seen by the Contest holder, in order to avoid COPYCAT...WHO AGREEE!!!!....

dear CH you're doing well.. I don't think like others.. You are Contest Holder, You need a logo You've right to rate or reject or rate and reject anyone.... It all depends on you, Please don't care about others and find the best logo for your company... I think the logo that you'll select, will be great for you and you company and also as you require... thanks
