The Pledge Club is an app where two friends can record a long term promise to each other depending what happens in their life. For instance “The first one of us to play for Manchester United will buy the other season tickets” or ““The first one of us to get on national TV will buy the other dinner at the Ritz” up to a serious financial pledge like “the first one of us to become a millionaire will buy the other a sports car”.
The logo has to appeal to people 18-28, male and female, probably students about to begin their careers. They are aspirational, forward looking, optimistic, digitally savvy. The promises made are legally binding but the imagery should not be fusty, heavy and old fashioned - it should be bright, clean, Uncluttered, fresh, modern, digital. All interactions will be on mobile phone and the feel is likely to be similar to an online banking, fin tech app. Given the Pledge or Promise at the heart of the brand a handshake imagery might work; we also would be interested in Pop Art, but interested in your ideas.
