A 3D rendering of a "Liahona" to be used in an ios app.
What is a Liahona?
The Liahona was an ancient brass ball that operated as a type of compass with two spindles.
The Liahona also contained periodic written instructions from God.
It is described as a round brass ball of “curious workmanship” with “two spindles,” one of which indicated the direction that one should travel.
Design your own Liahona using the pictures as your guide.
Make sure the user can rotate the Liahona as they wish.Make sure the spindles spin like the spindles of a compass. Last, have a written message appear around the circumference of the ball.

Hey Physcissss - I don't really see two spindles? The exterior reminds me of snakeskin : / Although I like the bright color it should be more brass like. The 3d effect looks good though. 3d animation as in actually rotating would be nice too!

Hello Everyone! WOW! I just saw this! Thanks for your messages. The rendering does not have to be ready for ios since im not at that stage yet. But the goal is to eventually use it in ios. Right now the goal is for me to see a 3D rendering that you will create using the pics provided and your imagination. Im sure what format it should be in for now since the goal is just for us to be able to view it, So you guys will have to help me out there...And by the way I dont have any fancy 3d software.

Do you need any detail in the 3D model, or would you prefer the detail in the texture ? ie: keeping it as low poly as possible.
What is the polygon budge for the model. ?
