Contest Brief

**Company name
Virtual Losers (Work in progress)

Currently conceptualizing a site and possibly app in which Gamers with an Omni-directional treadmill (Virtualizer oromni) are able to submit and track their average Heart's BPM, Calories burned, Distance traveled, Steps taken, and socialize with other like-minded "Losers".

**How do Iintend to market?
Using Indigogo to crowd fund a campaign to hire a front-end and back-end web developer and an App developer.

**What do we want as a result of this project?
A mock up webpage of the “Group events” page that doubles as the splash page is created. The winner of the contest will receive the funds promised and be highly considered for the next two mock-up pages to be used for the crowd funding campaign and possibly even the project.

Contest participants are free to explore any design with few limitations. Please use attached photos as a referencing the intent of what the mockup will be used to display.

**Purpose of the site:
Gamers are able to see the current health benefits they're gaining by using an Omni-directional treadmill with a particular game. Multiple gamer’s are able to upload their data for personal tracking and for their group. The site will entice and promote “Group gaming” as to resemble “Gym groups”. It’s not promoted as a “health and fitness” site, but a promoter of “Activity and fun”. Similar on how when you were a child playing tag or dodge ball, you’re being active but the fun of the activity takes your mind of it. The site will provide the results after participating in either your own personal gaming session or your groups. It will also provide a competitive nature by ranking you against your friends an ranking groups against others and globally.

**Current games planned : Battlefield 4, CS:GO, Team fortress 2, Borderlands 2, Skyrim since they are "End-less" runners due to multiplayer or open world nature. However any other game ideas are welcomed!


**Color requirements :
Minimalistic as possible. Preferably designed with mobile scalability in mind.

--A vibrant orange (Currently thinking Orange (RGB) : 247,141,0) but you're free to explore! Orange tends to be a very engaging or activity color. The second most prominent color must complement the ---orange.
--It reflects an active nature!
--It promotes fun
--Very limited of colors being used.
--This mock up must inform the user of the group event’s title, game planned, group’s emblem, group’s name, group’s intensity level, and date planned.

**Font: Whichever font is informative or seems to promote activity or events!

**Who are we trying to attract :
Crowdsourcing Gamers who want to lose weight through gaming/

Current target audience is the crownfunding gamer. These gamers already have Omni directional treadmills purchased.

Attached Images are images I currently used for the mock-up layout. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO ADHERE TO THE LAYOUT. That’s just to assist you in obtaining information of what im looking for and what the ultimate goal of the website

You will also find the Mock up layout and explanation of what each component is doing to provide more information of what im trying to accomplish on the site.

This represents the final presentable layout I’d like to have to promote on the crowd source campaign.

This has to look nice and represent the intent of the site. It must also be informative and presentable.
As you can see, We're not designers. We merely try to provide layouts to use as templates for what we see in our heads, but need professional guidance.

    Everyone who participated in this contest did their best. Cooldevartshop and lbernierhardy, you were my runner ups and are entitled to feedback! Cooldevartshop, you had the best web layout by far. You were clean, elegant, and had perfect placement. Your logo however seemed to favor only the Virtuix omni. I’ll keep in touch in case I cannot find a local web designer. lbernierhardy, you had the most unique ideas. The chat boxes, your intensity rating (funny), and the minimalistic time indicator. The fault here was the logo. I think you never had enough time to study the subject and only went directly to the layout. But given your creativity, I say you continue on in a career in design. You've have a knack for communicating your changes. Good luck to everyone in their endeavors. I appreciate everyone else as well, thank you for your submissions.

    Ok, I winner was chosen! Yashb3701's logo and persistence paid off. His logo was one of the main reasons he won. Its athletic pose gave the intent of activity and incorporating the non-discriminatory platform were the key factors in why his logo was the best.
