Contest Brief

I need an original, print-ready 3D model that I can drop straight into Bambu Studio and send to my P1S. The goal is a plastic pollen feeder for honey-bee colonies that keeps moisture out above all else.

Is he does everyone wants to make a birdhouse design. Look carefully at the example of what I'm asking for something similar to.

I am looking for functionality and quality design. I prefer that the designer consider print speed in the design. In this case, is it better to print the feet to snap on, or to print them as part of the product, since that may require supports? If you can find a way to incorporate any part of my logo, that is good, but not required. Even just the bees.

I will need STL files for printing, not just a concept.

The bees need to be able access the polllen feed. Make it similar to the example please.

Core elements I have in mind
• Pull-out pollen tray that runs on a smooth sliding track—no snaps or magnets.
• Roof overhang long enough to shed rain away from the tray gap and any seams.
• Back panel kept solid; I’d like to avoid the open vent style of the reference link so wind-driven rain can’t find its way in.
• Dual mounting option: a discreet hanging hook system and short integrated legs so the feeder can sit level on a flat surface when not suspended.

What I’ll need from you
• Clean, watertight geometry in .3mf (preferred) or .stl, optimized for FDM printing with standard 0.4 mm nozzle.
• Any split parts arranged on the build plate with recommended orientation and basic support notes.
• Small render or screenshot set showing how the parts assemble so I’m not guessing at fit.

I’ll test-print on PLA first, then switch to PETG once dimensions are locked. As long as the tray glides freely and the roof stops a garden hose test, I’ll mark the job complete.

Most of them are AI-generated images. I hope they know the client needs 3D printable file.

If The contest holder likes the entry, it would take one hour to make it in any 3d software. That’s not going to be a issue i hope.

I can design a fully print-ready, moisture-resistant pollen feeder for honey bee colonies optimized for your Bambu Lab P1S, focusing on durability, clean function, and fast FDM printing (0.4 mm nozzle). The design will include a watertight enclosed body with a long roof overhang to prevent rain ingress, a smooth pull-out pollen tray on low-friction sliding rails without snaps or magnets, and a solid back panel to block wind-driven moisture. It will also feature a dual mounting system with a hanging hook and integrated printed legs (preferred over snap-on parts for better strength and simpler printing), optimized for minimal supports and PLA test printing before PETG final use, with STL/3MF files arranged and oriented for Bambu Studio along with basic assembly guidance and optional subtle bee-themed detailing. If you have a specific vision or reference style in mind, feel free to share it and I can align the design closely to that.
