  The Issue:
  Many of the designs will be submited AI generated — not custom-built websites. Some are static images or mockups with no functional backend, while others have been created using AI website generators like Lovable.ai.
  
  How Scammers Operate:
  These participants — including professional spammers — generate a website using AI tools, deploy it (often via platforms like Vercel.app), and share the live link to gain your trust. The link looks legitimate, but the website itself is nothing more than a templated, AI-generated page with zero custom development.
  
  The Reality:
  Do not waste your budget on these submissions. Their work is essentially fraud — worth pennies, yet sold for much more. You could generate a similar result yourself using the same free or low-cost AI tools

     How to Verify Real Websites:
     To identify genuine custom work, especially WordPress sites:
     
     Ask for a WordPress dashboard screenshot showing the backend
     
     Request an editor screenshot with page builders or custom code
     
     Use a WordPress theme detector tool to verify if a submitted link is running a premade theme
     
     If a submission cannot provide backend proof, it is likely AI-generated or templated.
     
     I strongly recommend reviewing all finalists carefully before selecting a winner. I'm happy to assist if you need help identifying any suspicious entries.

     How to spot these scammers:

     ❌ The design looks like a cheap, generic template.
     ❌ You get no source code, no ownership, no real backend access.
     
     They do this to gain your trust fast — but once you pay, you own nothing. You can’t edit, migrate, or sell that site. It’s locked inside a free AI builder account.
