I am looking for an experienced data analyst / ServiceNow expert to help transform CMDB data into actionable insights and predictive analytics.

The CMDB currently receives data from three sources:
• Network devices
• Software applications
• Servers / hardware assets

Scope of Work:
1. Data Consolidation & Preparation

• Review and consolidate CMDB data
• Clean and standardise datasets for analysis
• Ensure data is usable for reporting and modelling

2. Predictive Analysis

• Build simple predictive models to identify early warning signals such as:
• Capacity issues
• Performance degradation
• Configuration drift

3. Dashboards / Reporting / Alerts

• Create easy-to-use outputs for operations teams (e.g., dashboards, reports, or alerts)
• Preferably integrated with ServiceNow or via a BI tool

Tools / Access:
• Access to ServiceNow CMDB will be provided
• Data exports can be shared if needed
• Open to tools like Python, Power BI, Tableau, etc.

Deliverables:
• Cleaned and structured dataset
• Predictive model (basic to intermediate level is fine)
• Dashboard / reporting solution
• Documentation (how it works + how to use it)
• Knowledge transfer session

Ideal Candidate:
• Experience with ServiceNow CMDB (preferred)
• Strong data analysis / predictive modelling skills
• Experience with dashboards (Power BI / Tableau / similar)
• Ability to explain outputs clearly

I will clean the 3 sources, build simple early-warning models for capacity, performance, and drift, and deliver a dashboard + ops guide your team can actually use — in ServiceNow or Power BI.
