Contest Brief

Hello! I am a member of a small indie band that just recently finished our first album on a shoestring/nonexistent budget. We would love to have a music video created for our track Right Into The Night.

As for the video, anything goes really. If you can do something cool that is live action then great, or some kind or quirky animation could be awesome too. We'd be open to flash animation style things. The mood is pretty somber and melancholic, so something dark and sad maybe. I've also attached the album art, not sure if that would help at all.

The video will be uploaded to YouTube and any other online video services we can think of.

The prize is $60. The winner will be credited as the creator of the video but the band will own all rights to video after payment is made.

Hi, firstly I would like to say I like the song and I appreciate what you do as im a musician myself (drummer). I would be happy to take on this project if you would be happy with a motion graphic lyric video as not only are lyric videos very popular now but it also means I would be able to produce it all using Adobe After Effects rather than using live footage.

  As for the budget, i know its really low, and we'r not expecting miracles. The album itself was recorded as a college project with basically no budget on borrowed equipment. I have no animation or video skills so I wanted to just see if anyone could come up with some kind of low budget video just to get something on youtube that's better than a Windows Movie Maker slideshow video.

  I don't have any footage so the content is really up to you. It can be anything. A flash animated cartoon, lyric video, whatever you are able to do.
