I am looking for someone to design an animation video for my directory website and app. This directory site and app are for people to find local businesses and tradesmen. This is the first of its type in the place I am going to introduce it so I want the people to know that they can find businesses/tradesmen anywhere by the use of their phones instead of asking people for contact details of businesses/tradesmen. I want the video to be catchy and for a maximum of 1minute. As a marketing tool, I would want to be able to use the video on whatsapp, facebook, youtube etc. I want a professional design and a bespoke service. I want the car in the video (british gas advert) to be like a Ghana taxi as I am developing the video for customers in Ghana. A taxi in Ghana looks like this (see attached).

The video should send a message that wherever you are you can find any business you want including taxis, plumbers, electricians, hotels, restaurants, pubs from your mobile phones, PCs and tablets. but all in an animated form.

Remember Ghanaians are black people so the animators should be black.

The idea
The traditional way of looking for a plumber, electrician, hotel, restaurant or any local business in Ghana is through a word of mouth (i.e. asking people). My idea is to change the way people find tradesmen and local businesses by using my app and website (Sorry, the app is being developed now). I want them people to be able to use their PCs, mobile phones and tablets to find whoever they want. I also want people to book taxis by looking for contact details from my app as people mainly have to stand along the road to catch a taxi. That's why I attached a picture of a taxi in Ghana. So it is a general business directory but to a new market in Africa. I want them to catch the fever and the new way of getting information. The logo is also being developed. The name of the brand is QuiqFind app and quiqfind.com. Will add more details at your request. thank you

Hi. With all my respect, I believe this is an application which does not need sophisticated animation. I agree that animation is expensive and hard to create but I did my best to create for you a draft animation video and I did not received any feedback. We can change the script, I will add VO WITHOUT*additional cost. Thanks

secondly about the script, I really like the idea about the rain and will consider it in a new script , but you also may know, the text I delivered hardly fits into the 60sec limitation, according to concept of 150 - 180 word per min, so if we want to add those parts about electricity , power outage and so in this text , that brings us 90 sec animation at least, so if you either prefer having 2 animation part , one for targeting people outside , one for internal use , or , we can change the script from scratch and do the story about the power outage , please let me know, sorry to bother you so much.

  you can either do both internal and outside. or you can choose to concentrate on one. I'm not too fussy about it. I just want to know how the end product will be and I will comment further.

Dear rhineholdp, thanks, for your clarification, first of all let me say I can't be more agreeing with rushInanmitiaiev about the 3D animation sample you mentioned, with all do respect , your budget is way beyond that kind of style, so if you really want that type of animation maybe you need to rethink of the budget, but if the budget is fixed , my suggestion is 2D stylized animation , simpler and less time to make ,

I developed a story based on the project info , here it is :
Meet Peter , He is traveling to Africa.arrived at this beautiful town ,
so he really wants to start his journey by exploring the area.no time to waste though.
so, he thinks of as taxi service , instead of wandering beside the road ,
waiting for someone to pick him up, how thoughtful !
but he isn't familiar with the neighborhood , and services around , that left him with the only choice :
asking other people. it took him some times , also , he get confused with many diffrent answers by the people he doesn't know at all.

  1. this story is about going to Ghana from a different country and making preparations. This targets people outside the country very well. perhaps, if he can get very frustrated and perhaps beaten by the rain that will help a lot. then you link to finding the QuiqFind app as you have indicated above.
  
  2. In Ghana there are issues with electricity and power outages. So you can also develop a story where the lights suddenly go off and therefore needs an electrician. Then he starts to ask people around. And because the people don't have a clue they give him wrong directions. He's beaten by the rain and finds himself in an unknown place. He's now looking for a taxi. Then perhaps a good Samaritan shouts QuiqFind App then you link it to the story you've developed above. So you finally add if you are looking for anything, eg electrician, plumber, builder, taxi etc then quiqfind app is the app you need. think this can also help.
