Contest Brief

I am re-writing the brief, because clearly from the entries, no one is understanding what I have in mind.

I want to create an image that represents the kin-ship ( the close relationship) that we as human, have with all other living things. Every living thing on earth, bacteria, worms, frogs, dolphins and people all have the same DNA structure and in certain genes, even the same code.

I want to show this harmony of nature with an image that brings everything together. That is why I asked for this not to be too cartoonish, or too childish.

I imagine a simple tree, with two clear arms (like a person). Not a giant leafy tree, but a tree that is shaped like an old person, holding hands with other animals in a circle.

The image supplied is a terrible image I made in just 10 minutes, submitted only to give you a very very basic and simplistic idea of what I am talking about. But ideally, the design will be much much better than this terrible example!

The DNA helix should be very soft, even transparent, the major part is the 5 animals holding hands. The DNA needs to be faint, gentle, with a modern flare.

I think the tree should be gnarled and old looking, like something from the Lord of the Rings movie. It's branches old an old man's arm. It's holding hands with these other animals. forming a ring of friendship
