Design a Logo

Contest Brief

You have as much freedom as you like, but please take note of the following:
- Logo is for an IT company.
- Please include the letters 'C' 'V' somehow (no '&' - just CV).
- I am looking for more 'serious' and sleek logos, rather than the fun and cheery type.
- A colour pallette of vibrant blue to black would be best suited to the logo.

Just a last-minute heads up for those of you who are interested. The final winner will be chosen based on the votes from the employees in our small company (after my colleague and I have picked what we would consider the top 20).
Note: For what it's worth, one of the employees thought it would be nice to see what a CV logo would look like if a suit/tie/lapel or something along those lines was incorporated in a stylized minimalist fashion. It should also be noted that any submissions along this line will not be given preference but will be judged fairly with the rest.

    I'm just waiting on some feedback from my colleague, and then will try and give the ratings a go. We are specifically keeping it a bit vague to see what you come up with - you are all experts (not us) after all.
    He did mention in passing that somehow including a globe/world might be an idea. Again, this is not a specific requirement, but something that was tossed out there. Whatever you are all doing is great though! I will get back to you about that feedback as soon as I can.

    I think its better not to rate the entries because when they see the entree with the highest ratings, they try to copy and just improve on that concept which is unfair to those who submitted their designs early. Basically, some are just fishing out for ideas and are not thinking of their own.
