Contest Brief

I have a requirement for a professional logo for my new startup company. This logo shall be used for all correspondence, including email and promotional material, on all websites, and of course, business cards.

The company shall be called "The Military Researcher"

The company shall conduct business predominantly in the provision of research services into the military service of past service people, in the sale of military medals, and military history books and material.

Please bear in mind that this will be catering to mainly an Australian and English clientele, which are quite savvy people, and generally very conservative.

I require the design to be easily replicated, and included in the above documentation, so may require several different file types. (I will let you decide this, as I do not have the appropriate technical skills).

I prefer that there is not a gun in the logo, although, I shall not limit your creative ideas. Please do bear in mind, a conservative yet clever design is far more likely to succeed. I do not have any preconceived ideas on colour, other than stated above, the colour scheme used must be easily reproduced in documentation.

It should be noted that the winning design will then be the sole rights and property of myself, for my exclusive use.

P.S. I will also follow this on with another task - that of designing business cards, and standard document templates.

Hi guys - great efforts so far! As a general note, please bear in mind that this will cater to English and Australian clientele. As such, I cant use American style images - such as the inverted sergeant chevrons
