The Wine Fairies offers wine events (social networking events), tastings (learning about wine from an expert in an informal setting), courses (wine certifications) and tailor made weekend trips to wineries in Asia.
The product is inherently aimed at women and couples, as a result of generating interest from the female audience. Thus it needs to appeal to men as well, no fairy dust, wands or pink please!
We are targeting people that want to understand more about wine and want to feel confident choosing a good bottle of wine in a restaurant or supermarket. We are aiming to break down the barriers of the wine industry, making it accessible and in a quirky way that people will want to engage with.
The brand is urban, youthful (20s – late 40s) and cool. It’s a rebel brand of the wine industry, challenging existing brands that appear pretentious. The brand is also sophisticated to reflect the price point.
It is aimed at a group of friends rather than an individual, creating a community feel that if you do attend the events or tours as an individual you will feel welcome. This is an exciting new brand that will be a vibrant new addition to the industry.
