We would like a logo designed for our holiday house/cottage so we can use it on our website, advertising and for a sign to hang out the front of the house. We have a cottage located at Kangaroo Valley, NSW, Australia, which is a semi-rural/country area. We lease it out to guests for short stays so we need to advertise it and create a brand/logo for it. Kangaroo Valley is a beautiful, peaceful valley where many Sydney residents like to go for a weekend getaway. We have listed the cottage with a popular site where guests can book accommodation and our cottage web address is: http://www.stayz.com.au/accommodation/nsw/south-coast/kangaroo-valley/98949.

We would like the name of the cottage "Babylon Cottage" in the logo with some design element such as a drawing/image etc. Maybe something country-like such as trees, rivers, bridge, mountains, valleys, wildlife such as kangaroos, wombats, possums etc.

Also, I like the image of a small cottage or roof shape. Importantly, don't use Pine Trees as these look very American. In Australia and on our property we have many Eucalyptus trees.

Hi Again, A few things to note about your designs: we don't have snow capped mountains in Kangaroo Valley, so try a simple mountain shape without snow. Please use the words Kangaroo Valley underneath the words Babylon Cottage in your designs. I like simple imagery and lines, so no detailed sketches or photos please. Also, please submit without a kangaroo as almost every entry has a kangaroo and I would like to see images without one. We have a famous small river and bridge at Kangaroo Valley too.

Hi All, Thank you thus far, the entries are great, keep them coming. I will give individual feedback shortly too. If you include a Kangaroo, I like the outline version of a kangaroo, not the whole body filled in. If you can incorporate it somehow into the words or other images too it would be good. It does not need a Kangaroo either, I am looking at all designs. Thanks!
