We need a nice new logo for our popular and growing app Food Planner. This is not an ICON. This is our logo that will be used in our web app and website. You can see our existing logo here:

online.foodplannerapp.com - Top Left..

We would like to keep our icon as it has how many users identify our app. Colors should be integrated into new logo.

Hello, we are open to suggestions! Our app is basically for planning meals, downloading recipes, inventory, grocery shopping.. so other than the colors complimenting our existing icon we are open to ideas!

  Well - if I may suggest something - it would be to keep the brand identity consistent. Please think about brand identity as a whole, not as a bunch of discrete elements. Long story short: using different graphic elements for icon, logo, patterns and details is going to confuse your users and therefore weaken the brand.
