I am starting my own public relations consultancy and I need a logo. I am looking for something type based, classic contemporary in style.
I will be working primarily on my own, however I will be pulling in additional vendors to work with me-- designers, photographers, videographers, web developers, etc. as my clients needs arise. I am also providing my services contract for hire to other advertising agencies and lobbying firms who may need additional public relations and writing help. So, I want to make sure that I have a logo that doesn't make me look like a "solo" pr person --no monograms, no signatures, and things like that.
I have many areas of expertise that I can offer to clients-- media relations, grass roots/advocacy communications programs, strategic internal communications planning and programs, media training for executives, executive speechwriting, event and conference planning/execution, writing for websites, digital campaigns, brochures, long-form research reports, intranets, blogs, press releases, video scripts, and more. And, if a client comes to me wanting to fully execute a website or a video or a brochure, I can work with vendors to make entire campaigns come to life.
I have $90 that I can put toward this contest. I would like people who enter to just show me your idea for the logo. Just the logo itself, by Wednesday May 13, 2015. If I choose your idea for the design, then for a total of $90, I would like to have:
--copyright to the logo
--the logo as a jpeg
I will choose the winner at the end of business (5 p.m.) on Wednesday, May 13, Eastern Standard Time, US.
The logo must say - Gosselin PR No other slogans are needed.
I'm attaching some files of some logos that I like to help you all out. The first few, for DRAE media, are some that my friend sponsored on freelancer.com as a contest. I was so impressed with it, I decided to sponsor my own contest. I don't have to have a box like that but I like the spirit of what they did there.
I've also attached some logos of other companies in the PR business. You will notice there are no handshakes, or people in these logos. Let's stay away from that.
