Who we are: "Rome BDSM Conference" is the second edition of a pansexual project focused on educational and infomation/divulgative events, seminars and workshops on Fetish & BDSM scene.  Rome BDSM Conference is the place of the knowledge exchange on all the arguments related to BDSM and sexuality at 360 °.
According to our approach, there is no absolute and immutable truth when it comes to human sexuality thus we prefer to talk about sharing knowledge and personal experiences rathr than "teaching" in an accademic way.

What we need:
we need an instantly recognizable logo with an high potentiality of awareness reproducible on all the advertising supports

The logo must be scalable to different sizes in order to be used for:
*  Print (T-shirts, flyers, business cards) 
* On - line (web sites, banner, pop up and multimedia products). The website is www.romebdsmconference.com (website colour scheme is not definitivie and might change, so do not base your design on what is actually online)
*  Merchandise 
* news papers and booklets

Technical Notes. The logo must be: 
1 - Simple. (Iconic-Symbolic / Logotype-Wordmark / Combination Marks) 
2 - Instantly recognizable 
3 - With limited use of color (bichromatic or trichromatic) . IF IT USES MORE COLOURS, THERE MUST BE A BLACK/WHITE VERSION TOO.
 4 - It must communicate the spirit of teaching sharing and divulgation of the project
5 - Logo has to have horizontal or square proportions. (no vertical)

Thing to avoid: 
Graphic effects and logos that in a different scale would be unreadable (this is very important. The logos that in small size are stains will be rejected. Clear logos!)

 Academic cap, shields, university logos et similia
References of a sexual nature. Unless is not a great idea, we prefer avoid banality like colosseum, gladiators etc.
 logos with out concept studies  
Try to focus your works about the knowledge, dialogue, know-how sharing and the people functions

I see no point in keeping feeding the trolls. Some have expressed their doubts and we answered them.
We picked our winner and it is not the one you would have picked? That's life. We'll live with you not accepting that someone else was better.
We're happy about our decision and I hope you all will be successful in your future jobs.

I want to thank all the freelancers who submitted their ideas. Some were really great and until the end it has been a head to head for the finalists, expecially #330 and #502 .
The reasons that lead us to pick the winner were in the simplicity and yet in the multiple meanings that you could find in that logo.
