Síntese do concurso

Design a Logo and thumbnail(Favicon) for a company that has a website and the company does research for industry groups in areas of vocational education.
The logo must be simple and less is better. The logo needs to be easily identified across the various media.
The colours need to be web safe.
The thumbnail (square) needs to be simple and be easily recognised.
The thumbnail will be used on sites as the Profile picture on Facebook, Youtube, Twitter, Tumblr, Slideshare etc.
The thumbnail can be a cutdown section of the logo.
The logo and thumbnail will need to be contained in a coloured border.
The logo must have "Southbank Institute" more dominant (or larger) and "Research Centre" less dominant.
The acronym SIRC can be used in the logo, but we have not decided if this is compulsory to use in the logo.
Any text must be a common font e.g. Arial
Colours must be black, white and greenPantone 369 C (there can be different shades of this colour or greys). No additional colours to be added.
For printing, the file needs to be high resolution, we can reduce the file size for the web ourselves.
Logo needs to be created in a vector based program, we prefer Adobe Illustrator, as this is our editing program.
