Contest Brief

Statement of Faith is a web- and app-based, collaboration of vivid illustrative stories, dynamic study resources, and a robust network to connect the Christian community. Our goal is to inspire, engage, and energize the community from all walks of life.

We are looking for a WORDMARK logo (sample images are attached), that represents a modern and creative company. The 'calliope' and 'sky juice' attachments are a preferred style direction. We are NOT looking for plain text, and a generic symbol. We are looking for REAL creativity, with both text and the symbol being able to look great, and represent the company. Either by themselves, or together.

I prefer to stay away from using a cross symbol, fish, or dove symbol. If you can draw well, and you can try fitting in a TREE or cute SHEEP, that might work. Just suggestions, I'm open to any good work. Thanks!

Thanks everyone for all your entries. I saw a lot of great ideas, and lots of determination from some of you. I have awarded design #36 the winner of this contest. To the other designers I did not choose, know that your ideas being rejected wasn't necessarily due to 'poor design', but rather because it didn't fit my need. Keep on designing, learning, and having fun.

All... thanks for continuing to submit your entries. I'm still looking for the right one, and plan on waiting to review many other submissions before I award this job. Keep in mind that I am looking for a Wordmark logo, with emphasis on a unique font. I am an experienced Photoshop guy myself, so I understand how easy it is to select through the thousands of different fonts, move around some words, and consider it a work of art. I'm looking for something unique, marketable, and that is an icon to represent my national brand. I have included several logo examples, along with detailed information in this contest job description.
