We need a logo for our new company "Wow Web Design". We are an Australian company based in Cairns QLD. Wow Web Design is a family business which specialises in developing websites for individuals, clubs and small business.
Our home base is on the beautiful Atherton Tablelands in Far North Queensland. This does not limit where and who we can build for as we have developed sites for businesses operating across Australia as well as businesses worldwide.
We offer professional packages that include not only website design but we can also take care of your monthly hosting and support needs.

We are open to all colour schemes, and would like to see options from both the corporate and fun and interesting designs. Ideally we want this logo to be recognisable, but also convey what we do.

Please start reading last post first......Regarding the symbol, please take into account that we, as a business, are designing web pages in the worldwide web. So we are all about design, all about the www and all about "wowing" people. The symbol can be abstract, but needs to mean something. For example, it could be a stylised WOW, a surprised eye, a globe of the world representing the www, a symbol representing design, some other symbil, or a combination of symbols. As long as it is simple and easy to understand.

We are still not 100 percent sure of what we want, but we would like our logo to mean something. For example, if someone sees it, we can say to them. the symbol in our logo means......

If you put in any more designs, could you please explain what any symbolism means?

Dear Designers

Some of your designs have been excellent. You will notice we have given a couple of the designs five stars, but the competition is still going.

Below are some comments on what we have seen so far:

We do not really like complicated designs. We would prefer simple designs that look clean and crisp and the logo be easily seen when you are standing back from the computer screen. For example, we look at the computer screen with all the entries and ask ourselves, which ones stand out.

We like the idea of using a symbol within or to the left of the logo. The reason being, we can then use that symbol for a flavicon later.

The symbol does not have to have the word WOW in it.
