Contest Brief

I am wanting a new homepage design for our new website that is currently under construction, you can see the website at http://176.227.204.101/

The Logo that will be used is attached.

The overall look and feel needs to be clean and fresh with fairly muted colours I do not want bold or brash colours to be used. Colours feel free to have a free reign on this but it obviously needs to work with the logo.

Why do I like them?

They are clean fresh and uncluttered, they use nice lifestyle images where needed and do not use any heavy colours.
Limited text on the page they make the most of the images to tell the story.

You will need to incorporate the following into the design.

The navigation bar (this can be changed in size and colour to match your design though.
The information in the header excluding the logo where the attached logo will be used.
The shopping cart needs to be either in the header or the navigation bar.

I will need 5 banners designed for the slider the slider will be full width and around 300 high no smaller.

The banners will need to focus on the following:

LED downlights
LED strip lighting
LED wall washers
LED reading lights
LED panels

The footer can be changed as you like it will be a 4 column footer that we use.

I like to have the homepage below the slider focus on these areas

Testimonials and reviews area

An area with details and link to our FAQ’s section

Special offer or new products area display 6 to a max 10 products

Some social logos facebook and twitter although if it does not fit with the design you have we can move these to the footer.

Overall width of the page as already shown on the website.

Please let me know if you have any questions, i will rate and comment on the designs that come in so that you get feedback.

Oh and the website is running on a wordpress platform if that makes any difference.
