Client:
Female, 26 years old
Location of tattoo: Upper arm
Size of tattoo: Likely be most of the upper arm (from shoulder > elbow)

Requirements:
Tattoo design incorporating key elements
Design to be supplied in black & white and a colour variation (traditional rockabilly shading)
To be supplied in vector format

• A ‘rockabilly’ swallow
• A lotus flower (semi open, do not show centre of lotus)
• the word “Lady” in classic rockabilly script/banner
• Sun and Stars

Other optional elements
• Bow
• Cherries
• Rose
• A black cat (my cat is a female, looks a bit like the dragon Toothless from ‘How to train a dragon’ movie – Ideally, want her sitting up on lying down, very sleek and slendder)
• MTG Planeswalker symbol

One tip for everyone that might help with your designs - the lines should all be very similar in weight/thickness.. this way the whole design will look like one complete work instead of a few elements in different styles stuck together - see example http://pin.it/W3sk4OM

sun and stars - the star can be the rockabilly style and the sun doesnt not have to be a literal sun drawing, can be like solar flare behind the whole piece or a simple sunrise line drawing.

no problems , i like to see a image of anything used as inspiration , just to get a feel of any personal quirks or distinguishing marks that can be put in the finished design to make it more personal , i will be starting on the design today for you :)

Must have elements - Lotus, Swallow, Sun and Stars and the word 'Lady' in a banner or script like in the brief... I think focus on the balance of these elements. Others are optional... Starting to think the cat is not required at this stage

Just another note on the cat: I'm after more of a line drawing, outline of a black sleek/thin cat, with slighty pointed ears and a slender face.. not a literal drawing of my cat.. see pinterest board and attached brief doc.. thanks :)
