We seek a dynamic individual to revitalize our exclusive B2B customer resource platform and ordering system, www.pivotpoint.mobi. First built and released to our clients about 18 months ago, we recognize it’s time to optimize the user experience, as well as give the site a fresh look and feel. We want a user experience that delights and aesthetics that engage. To accomplish this, we require someone with equal parts technical expertise, imaginative solution design and a keen eye for design.

In regard to user experience, intuitive and easy navigation for first time users is crucial. Additional, more specific areas needing attention:
My Account Section:
•Filtering of the Invoices (eg. current invoices, overdue invoices and paid invoices). Currently it loads every invoice at once, creating a drag on load time.
•Ability to print invoice.
•More user friendly way to view items in an order in the system, it’s difficult to find currently.
•Running tally of the “items in cart”.
•Ability to search for an item through all suites rather than just in a specific suite.
In regard to design, the site needs to harmonize with [url removed, login to view] to maintain congruence of brand messaging; however, if you can achieve this in a more subtle way, we are open to it.
Both user experience and design need to take into consideration incorporation of future development stages (outlined below) and any navigation will need to allow space for at least three more. The site needs to function smoothly across platforms (PC, mobile, tablet, etc.).
In regard to delivery of work product, ideally, you would provide nicely layered psd files for our team to execute.
Stages of development:
First and completed stage of the site was “online bulk ordering”, allowing customers to order lineal and pre-constructed components.
The second stage, “online kit configurator and ordering”, is in full development by our in-house team. This system will streamline the process of configuring and ordering shower screens and other kits.
Additional future stages will include the development of a sales management tool for our customers to use with their customers (including product showcase, calendaring of quotes and installation, quoting system), account management tool for our customers to use in their business, and a configurator of residential operable louvre extrusions.
