BRIEF RE-WRITE:

I'm re-writing this brief as 90% of the entries so far are far from the mark and are not following the brief.

Please polish the Mock-ups provided as Word docx as Illustrator or Indesign files.

Please follow the styles provided (Ie orange bar on right side, blue gradient at the bottom etc.) I'm looking for slight variations on the theme but will a professional look and detailing. I want professional designs not something that a high school student would produce.

I've left the original brief below for more detail but I stress I want a reworking of the design I've provided not a fresh design. Water marks in the background etc are fine but something close to the docx files provided please,

END BRIEF RE-Write

I require a series of brochure template designs for our Kiln range. Woodrow Kilns is a manufacturer of Kiln and Furnaces.

We are updating our look and feel so need a series of new brochures and style templates based upon our new theme.

Our new website is currently under construction please visit to get an idea of the theme that we'd like the brochure to fit in with.

I have provided our exiting brochures (pdfs) and rough mock-ups in MSWord format as a guide to a new design. These are very rough designs but are provided as a starting point as so you can understand the basic info that the brochures must contain.

There are 2 basic design templates required:

a. 1 x double sided A4 brochure/flyer (This will be our Evo Kiln range) (Mock-up files A4Front.docx, A4Back.docx)

b. 1 x tri-fold double sided A4 brochure/flyer (This will be our Hobby kiln range) (Mock-up files TriFront.docx,TriBack.docx)

The mock-up brochures give an draft idea of the information that is required to be on the brochure.

The colour pallet needs to match our company logo ie Dark Blue, Orange and White.

I'd primarily like the background and majority of the brochures to be white as possible as they will be printed by our customers at home so I don't want to waste their ink.

The mock-ups contain draft version for the words and draft images. They are representative of what will be needed though not final or hi res.

Both flyers will need the tables of information provided in the mock-ups so please incorporate them in the design.

Given the nature of the contest please allow that there will need to be a few revisions to the winning design once selected.

All designs should be multi layered in Illustrator or InDesign. Please focus on the design layouts that I can see in detail, not fancy virtual mock-ups.

NOTE: The mock-ups have been created for a reason. I want the final outputs to look very similar to them but with some professional design polish.

  Hi really not sure what you mean. If you look to the docx files for the info that needs to be on the brochures. Concepts like for the tri-fold brochure, Cover, inner-fold showing table, back showing contact details and company wide info, inner pages showing product images, names and feature list.

yes its a contest. i got it. hobby kiln range have 3 images only. can i replace those women picture with any other suitable picture you have...ok first let me do some design.

  New Hobby Brochure based upon TriBack will have 5 Kilns not 3 like the old brochure. As for lady image. I have 3 hires images that can be used. See the homepage of the new site, the slideshow (manual at present) shows the 3 images.
