Contest Brief

This is a contest to design an e-book cover for an Amazon Kindle e-book entitled "Rat Pac Chic" and the subtitle is A Style Guide for Becoming a Sexy, Urban "It" Girl. The author's name is Raven Reigns. It's a style guide for women that takes place in Las Vegas so the cover image could be a chic woman dressed in a men's tuxedo style suit or it could be any images related to Las Vegas such as casinos, a fedora hat, a tuxedo, the Las Vegas sign etc... But, it must relate to being a style guide for women - but no showgirl images. Do not use copyrighted images, or if you do, you will need to provide me the legal release for them.

The winning cover will be selected and you must allow author to make some changes if any changes are needed. I look forward to your time and creativity and thank you.

Amazon Kindle KDP rules say it must be in .JPG format, and be 2820 pixels on the shortest side and 4500 pixels on the longest side. Product images on Amazon KDP use RGB color mode.

Hi, I'm new to oDesk so I couldn't find how to send a personal message on your profile page. After I saw your final choice, to be frank, I got so puzzled so I must ask you for a feedback or at least explain your choice in short. I don't want to offend anyone but it was extremely hard to imagine there were no more professional entries (by that I don't mean mine of course, I must underline).

I've looked at all the entries and am drawn to ones that pop with a brightness either in image or color. A large focal point with conceptual backgrounds are interesting me as well. It looks like I have accidentally mis-spelled Rat Pac, it should read Rat Pack Chic. My apologies, you do not have to correct unless you are the chosen winner and then we can make that minor correction.

Wow, I am very impressed with the concepts that are coming in so far. Try to stay away from any images that are copyrighted so that I won't have any issues using those particular graphics. Make sure the fonts in the tile are easy to read on an Amazon Kindle and large enough to grab attention. Thanks for your generous creativity - the results so far are catching my attention.
