Contest Brief
Hi, and thank you for your interest in this little contest. I look forward to your creative input, and brilliant design ideas!!
I LIKE: Pastel colors as accents, Clean lines, Minimalist design, futuristic/contemporary/modern, Function..and all of that on a budget! :)
First: Please see my existing photos [ATTACHED FILES, below] of my bedroom cabinetry (flat faced, maple, with pickled white stain), TV cabinet, then see my floor tile which I will extend and use (MUST ONLY USE THAT STONE) as the flooring surface for the bathroom (everyewhere but inside shower stall), the flooring is 12"x12" polished Teakwood marble tiles. I would like the cabinetry to mirror the flat panel "European" style in the bedroom, although feel free to play with the color, or accent colors.
NOTE: to my dismay, the shower stall MUST be elevated approximately (6" above the slab) this is a condo, and NO NEW penetrations can be made in the slab.. likewise the toilet must be a rear discharge toilet..
My thoughts, however be as creative as you want:
Floating cabinet for a double vanity or 2 single vanities
Functional lighting for daily grooming
*MANDATORY* Walk in shower stall (LARGE- entire width of room and 4' - 5' deep) on rear bathroom wall, frameless glass doors, linear shower drain,
single head shower (no body sprays on wall), do want hand wand
Pocket door at entry to bath (feel free to enlarge this opening if you see fit)
Need towel/and general storage/in addition to vanity
Rectangular tub
Would prefer to somewhat conceal the toilet (not mandatory) .. but not with a full height wall or "room"
Large or full coverage mirror behind the vanity / ies .
Some unique touches?
Flatstock 1" x 4" trim (base & casing) -- if needed -- to match rest of the place
I'm attaching a floor plan, and someone else's crappy plan view drawing "erocbath.." (USE THIS for accurate dimensions).. just for your reference and for the overall dimensions..OH!! Ceiling height is 8' above finished floor.
NOTE: I will need dimensioned drawings (plan view & elevation line drawings) in addition to a 3D rendering without dimensions. Contact me anytime with any questions or concerns. Thank you very much in advance for your participation and interest.

Hi to all participants, thank you again! To those very talented participants who are submitting renderings irrelevant to my SPECIFIC floor plan, as seen in the ATTACHMENTS below, I'm going to reject your entry for now, as to not clutter the contest screen, however I hope you will review my request in full, and participate as the other contestants have done. Thank you in advance!

I agree, many of these are very good, I'm impressed, and inspired. someone could always send in an entry with that "perfect" look and take the win! but as it stands right now, I'll have some real contemplation to do in selecting the winner.

Yes,..I agree,..this freelancer.com website's charge is very much higher ( taking charge from both sides by employer+designers) with respect to other sites like Outsource.com & Elance.

Agreed sir, :) this is my first time outsourcing something like this, I'm learning from the experience, and I hope to make good connections for my future design needs as well, perhaps I can go straight to the source for my next projects ;)

Thank you VERY MUCH! You followed my exact instructions, and did some great renderings! You provided some nice touches that have inspired my thoughts for the design. Great work, and thank you again for your contribution! The contest has some time left so, I must be fair to all.. but I'm sure this will be a top contender! I wonder if anyone will be able to top this!? PS: I may ask if you would please make a very small change or two, would that be ok?

Hi there, I've attached dimensioned floor plans below, in the "images" area, along with photos of other things w/in the condo as source of inspiration, or at least as a way of keeping the design cohesive with the master bedroom. You wouldn't want photo's of the existing configuration, it's not very pretty :) consider it a blank canvas, using the dimensions seen in my attachments. Thank you in advance for your contributions!
