the startup name is OYSCH
the startup is working on an android, IOS and application that allows the users to manage their tasks workflow and the time tracking on the different tasks the user's business is working on. along with the mobile application, there will be a desktop website version that will have the same functionality.

i expect the work to be in a very high level and to have a brand identitiy guidelines document, all the work will be fully my ownership once finishing the handover, the disigner will need to delete all the source files when the handover was finished and after i will update all is received ok. all files needs to be in a proper file formats.

the vibe of the logo needs to be very creative, should send a positive feeling, it should represent order, management, but in a fun and light way.

the colors preferred to be neon purple, could be blue, or orange. if you have other very good suggestion of specific pantones, even if i haven't listed them, feel free to suggest, it should look clean and slick, nothing too kitchy.

the brand have a range of colors that will complement the main colors, so there will be a wide flexibility for different colors to use in iconography, and that those colors will complement the brand.
so if there is buttons and statuses inside the app, and there will be a need to use more colors then the logo will have as the main colors, the other colors that might be needed, can be found in the color palette.

preferably 2 fonts will be needed, the fonts need to have versions that can be used in various implementations (print and web, different weights and styles). maybe a main font and a secondary for different uses that maybe the first will not fit for.

icons that needs to be included are for social networks and some other services: facebook, twitter, linkedin, pinterest, instagram, skype, whatsapp.
along with the standard icons that will represent the: image website, the blog, email, company offices, phone, cellphone.
more icons that will be needed are for the interface of the application and the management website: notes, tasks, invoices, receipts, profile, settings, invitations (invite friend option), donate, summary button, home screen, menu, search, custom favorites, info, camera, new textbox, trashcan (delete), exit button (an X mark), task status (new task that is unfinished and 4 more styles of from semi finished to done).
for management backoffice use: new user button, turn standard user to admin, disable user, delete user, enter visibility mode, exit user visibility mode, main summary, actions log, invitations log, users list.
all of the icons needs to be under the same vibe and connection to the brand colors, shapes, look and feel. as part of the design system. all of the icons i ahve described here needs to have 3 versions of themselves: unclicked, hovered, clicked.

i prefer the design to have an outlines style and not round background and the icon inside, but really it depends how good you will make it look on the different styles (clicked, unclicked etc)

the design needs to be in the new look and feel of flat, meterial design. so is the logo. so no 3d stuff.

guidelines and suggestions on how textboxes will look like (this is not mendatory, but great to have as part of the identity build, so if you have a vision, please share it).

if possible to provide the below graphics included, that will be great but not a must.
graphics or some larger illustrations than the icons for use on the website and on different screens in the applications:
appealing graphics for use at the screens: invitation, contact support, main screen background, reports, about.

all of the items and meterials needs to be part of the design system and needs to complement the brand overall vibe.

you can see below an example of how the iconography should be prepared as per clean design and guidelines in the brand manual that should be prduced at the end of the job.

i don't really like the icons of oracle, i prefer icons that are based as lines, minimalistic, clean and elegant. but the guidelines oracle displayed on the link i've added above, are very clear and compatible to high standards of design.

  as of now, you really have good designs so i don't think you need to worry too much about having him copy you. i cannot be the one that decides if he is really cheating or not. but i will pay attention on if the designs is going to look similar if you will create other designs to compete for the win. and if i will see anything that is fishy, i will do my best to choose whoever is the source of the original designs.
  you just make sure to work on your designs in the best creative way, and if anyone is copying you need to know that originality cannot be copied.
  anyway, i'm seriously considering to seal it now. just so all of you designers will feel free to post your designs with being super sure they are not being copied. i'm a long time believer in a good honest design work, and it is important for me that you will be able to be creative with ease.

i'm not looking to wait for the final day of the contest and as long as i will get some great entries that will allow me to decide who will be the winner, i will proceed with whoever gives the best design to my taste. i'm trying to be super responsive so you all will have great feedbacks on what works and whats not. see what i reply to others and you may learn from my likes and dislikes on different designs, which will guide you to the best design you can suggest.

hey all, i would really want to start and see every entry included with how the logo design can be used as a symbol which will represent the brand without the full logo (like in application icon and other connection to more icons as part of the iconography).

so please concentrate on presenting your entries with the full logo version, and a short version to be used as an app icon.

adding some more simulations on how the symbol will look as an application icon, and how the logo will be presented on the app main screen is important. maybe some basic iconography of a few main icons so i can start and get the look and feel of the design language that can be used with your suggestions. adding those addiotional design items can help speedup the process and will help me narrow down my decisions.

the logo must have a symbol or need to have a way that it can be used as a symbol on different locations (like on the application icon) where there will not be a place to show the entire name, or for any reason if it will not be needed or required on the full version of it.
