Hello,

I'm working with an author to get their book on Amazon. We need to get a cover and this is what he'd like:

"I'd like it to be a picture of a dove but I don't want the dove to be white, I want it to be very colorful with a tear coming down it's face."

Title: Tears Of Adversity
Author: Isaac J. Hall II

Please don't put 'by' before the author name. The cover just needs a simple background and that dove. I hope you can use some Photoshop to get those rainbow-like colors on the dove. I'm not sure about the tear on the face, I hope you can do that.

I'm setting this project for $50 and I hope some good entries come in. Thank you all for your time and hard work!

The plot of the book revolves around a kid growing up in an abusive home. His dad beat him and his mom and brother, later he goes and joins the Army and fights in Afghanistan. He gets PTSD and comes back to the States and doesn't know how to live life.

When designing this album cover, think about if you would actually buy the book based on the cover you designed. Don't just design a cover to design a cover.

"A colorful dove with a tear..." what a load of crap! just explain the main plot and the theme of the book and let the designer do his job. you're interrupting the process with that stupid Idea.

Has he written any other books? Also, what is the theme of the book? It is difficult to design a cover for a book without having any detail of what the book is about. The cover of a book tells the possible reader what lies inside of it before they even begin to read.
