Contest Brief

We have a current website and have been selling online for 9 years. We're looking to update our website into something newer; more sleek, modern and eCommerce related. Our interest is to aim the website more towards pushing sales and capturing leads. The rewarded designer will also be hired to create other pages of the website. As of now, we need 1) a new homepage mock up design 2) an inner page mockup design
The current website can be seen at ocRAMPS.com.

A few things of what we're looking for;
The home page is most important. The header should be updated and well thought out. The header should be simple, sleek but also edgy. Although its an eCommerce website, we won't have the features of 'account, login, etc'-- so no need to add that to the header. I'd like part of the header to scroll down with the page too. We're interested to see any options of drop-down menus for the header toolbar and those respective products. The background image can be light grey on wood (right now its dark grey wood). The colors of our brand are; black, grey, brick red, yellow, and even orange. I want the 'call to action' buttons (ie add to cart, buy now) buttons all to be in sync. In other words, the buttons should remain to be the same theme throughout.

I would like one small spot on the homepage to direct to our blog. It doesn't need to be a focal point- but often times our customers click the blog to see our recent projects and type of professional work we provide.

A couple samples of website homepages we like are www.SportsChalet.com, and http://themeforest.net/item/ultimo-fluid-responsive-magento-theme/full_screen_preview/3231798 (demo 1), or http://store.sony.com/

What we do NOT want; *the homepage to be too long to scroll through. *to be too cluttered and too much stuff crammed on one page.

Overall, we want the website to be simple to navigate, easy to use and professional. We've been in business for almost a decade- I want our website to demonstrate that.

      Yes, I want to keep the same logo. As for colors, I want to use the same colors on the current site; Black, Grey, Brick Red, Yellow. We can even add Orange- you can see how the orange color is used in the sample mockup on the attachment of the contest...
