Need a great logo for our expat poker group. It is an international group of expats who like to play poker. First of all you must know what an expat is. Hopefully you already know this and are not reliant on my brief explanation. An expat is a person from a country who moves to another country and most of the time these expats travel the region or world very extensively. Like digital nomads are expats. Anyone who works online or remote and lives in another country other than where he was born and raised. I'm trying to appeal to expats who play poker. I'd like a logo where it has elements of poker and element of expat. I am attaching a logo I recently had done for this and quite frankly, it was my concept and I like it a lot. Why do I like it? Because the globe with the spade-arrow shows traveling the world to me which is what expats do, and the spade of course connects it to poker, and it is very simple, and looks great in my opinion. After I had this one done, I thought that maybe if the globe graphic was inserted into a poker chip, it might even improve this concept. I have attached poker chip designs to this project as well so you can choose a poker chip edging design to insert this globe inside. I think by adding this poker chip edging (right color and edging design, check google images) it could improve this existing logo. So I am very open to having this existing logo tweaked and improved by this or another creative improvement of this existing concept which I actually like very much quite frankly. OR, designer can have his/her own original concept for design of logo and start from scratch. I am actually very openminded on this, but also I must like it a lot. It does help A LOT if designer is a poker fan or at least familiar with poker, and designer also MUST understand what an expat is as well. I don't want this logo to look like all the other poker logos out there. i do very much like the current fonts used in current attached logo. I am open to change but not required. I also like the way "expatpoker" looks as one word in lowercase in this font and different colors per each word. Need some originality. Want to use this on Facebook group, poker table logo, and shirts/caps. I will need two versions of this logo. First version will only have the "Expat Poker" words and be used for general club logo. And second version will have the added text "MEDELLIN" and be used specifically for Medellin branch of club.

(continuation) #2- Remember I told you I needed a version of the final logo with the city name "MEDELLIN" added to it as well. You did this in entry #322, BUT when you did it, you changed the "EXPAT POKER" from 2 lines to 1 line! I prefer the 2-line appearance of EXPAT POKER such as it is in this entry #287. So, can you make a 2-line "EXPAT POKER" and then add MEDELLIN I assume on a third line? Can you make this work? (I'd like the original "EXPAT POKER" and the "EXPAT POKER MEDELLIN" to look as much as possible the same, except for the additional "MEDELLIN" on second version.) #3- So now I should have two versions of this GOLD COLOR logo with the two revisions just described. I'd like to get versions of each in 3 color combinations you have already done. The first color combination is GOLD (#287), and also SILVER (#284), and also Metallic Blue/silver (285).

I HAVE SELECTED WHICH LOGO ENTRY #286 I WANT TO WIN AS LONG AS DESIGNER MAKES FINAL REVISIONS AS PER MY INSTRUCTIONS. I MESSAGED HIM 2 DAYS AGO AND HE HAS NOT MADE THE CORRECT REVISIONS AND THE CONTEST IS SCHEDULED TO END IN ONE DAY!! HE IS NOT COMMUNICATING WELL WITH ME FOR SOME UNKNOWN REASON. Here is a copy of the message instructions I sent him. Can someone else do these revisions on this logo so I can buy it?? PLEASE READ CAREFULLY: I really like this logo entry #287. There are a few minor things I need done to it. Please READ THIS CAREFULLY so you can do all require revisions before I accept this as the winner. #1- Please decrease size of PALM TREE to be the 20% SMALLER than the current size of the palm tree in entry #318. We have had this contest running now for about 40 hours and I have received many wonderful logos. I'd like to thank everyone for the wonderful quality work. I received about 300 logos so it has been impossible to write a personlized note to all contestants, and I'd like to take this opportunity to first of all thank everyone for their participation. As of this moment, I am down to the FINAL TEN LOGOS! So if your logo is still active as of right now, there are only ten logos still in competition. I will give some more general suggestions here which could help. If you are one of final ten logos, please read my suggestions CAREFULLY and see if these suggestions can help you improve your logo in any minor way so that you can win. SUGGESTION 1: Run a google image search using keywords "globe with country flags". The search results show interesting globe images which may be able to be incorporated in some way in some of your designs. I will continue this comment on next post.

As for the designer who write comments requesting for me to check their specific logos, believe me I have checked every design. I will now go write specific comments on the remaining logos and then go to sleep. I'm sure when I wake up I will have logos that i can select very soon! Thanks

(continuation) These globes with flags can be modified slightly to fit your logo. I think you can put in some POKER SYMBOLS like Heart, Spade, Club, Diamond somehow mixed in with the country flags (perhaps replacing some rectangles where there are flags) so that there is an interesting combination of countries and poker in globe. Then you can have the little plane circling it. This is just a concept and I'm not sure it will work but I do think it is worth a try. SUGGESTION 2: How about a version of the globe with flags where about half the globe has flags and the other half of globe has medium sized or large sized poker symbols? SUGGESTION 3: The logos I like best have connections to both POKER and EXPATS TRAVEL. Some logos only have POKER reference and some only have EXPAT TRAVEL reference. The best ones I like have references to both in the image!!! SUGGESTION 4: All previous suggestions and comments still apply. Those are general suggestions. (continued on next post)

I'm going to bed now. There are still about 12 entrants I am considering. Just waiting for more revisions. REMEMBER: make sure logo has element(s) of POKER and EXPAT TRAVELERS in it. Do google image search of "travel agency logos" and this can inspire you to show how to depict travel, and dont forget something for poker too. good luck. will comment when i wake up. i would also google "poker logos" for inspiration.
