Hello All,

You are a true creative? You have plenty of ideas? You can easily seize a grasp of what a customer wants based on a few KEY WORDS? Ley yourself get challenged with our keywords! :)

Who are we?
We are a start up.

Who are our customers?
Fashion companies and UNISEX shoppers.

What is our main activity?
Selling clothing, for men and women

Where?
On the web and in stores

What do we want to convey in our LOGO and graphic charter?
Our values: respect, unity, faire trade, identity, diversity
Our dna: originality, innovation, boldness, think ahead of our competitors

Logo:
Can be only the name of our brand or added with a small logo if it does properly convey one of our messages.
must include the brand name: "beautiful" (this is not our real name)
- designed in complementary and/or monochrome colors only (which match the graphic chart colors as well)

and MUST allow to understand that its related to:
- internet. For example, "Beau.tiful" is ok (including a dot between the letters or elsewhere)
- fashion

and that the Targets are both:
- fashion vendors
- online and instore unisex shoppers

The GRAPHIC CHART/visual identity MUST allow to understand that its related to:
- innovation
- the logo's above messages

and MUST:
- contain complementary and/or monochrome colors only (in adequation with the logo as well)
- give a dynamic impression (youth, start up company)

The colors of logo, graphic chart:
BLUES/GREENS/REDS/GREYS/WHITES
All colors do not need to be included in the same page. For example, different sets of color schemes for the graphic chart can be suggested so to better fit the two targets's different messages we want to convey:
- unisex shoppers (website, commercials): beauty, fashion, identity, respect, fun, well beign, sharing etc
- fashion vendors (business stationnary, electronic presentations, corporate website): innovation, quality, reliable etc

Logo and branding must be usable in different formats (for website, business stationary, powerpoint presentations purposes etc....).
Must be copyright free of course.
All font, colors, size must allow for A3 posters, business cards, business stationnary and electronic documentation purposes (please provide a template for each).

PLEASE COME GET CHALLENGED! Comments and ideas will be regularly posted based on your work so as to facilitate your creativity.

Funny thing - ages ago I came up with a hanger as a logo. #11 - then I was rejected and the CH said I did not get the concept of her business bla bla bla... And now, what's my surprise? Wow, lots of hangers everywhere! I believe the CH should REJECT all of them again, am I right? Fantastic contest!

I really liked many of the other logos that were eliminated. These newer ones have a retro feel to it which is okay but doesn't leave much to the imagination. Nor would I consider this new and fresh. You never specified in the brief that you were looking for a retro and traditional look which I think would have things a bit clearer. Thank you for the opportunity anyway.

3 days ago, we left a very clear message with a link to download the logo and color combination ideas we came with. Some have missed it so here it is again.

COLORS: we listed the browser safe combination colors so please USE THEM and do not simply copy paste the logos and colors we have done on word to give you an idea..... if your combination works better, feel free to suggest.

the desired shape: something that looks like a site button (a circle). We like the last two better but again, we are open to other suggestions. Please NOTE that the colored "text spaces" are mistakes: they must be invisible. PLEASE DO NOT COPY PASTE THESE LOGOS AS SUCH!
The font: a kg chasing pavement style seems nice but in narrow style. Please, use something that looks like it, not necessarily this one.

  Yes totally sad buddy , plus this CH just wasted our time and many other times, I am glad this is guaranteed and if he doe snot like the logo he still going to pay for it , but once again there is the ugly hanger idea in 1st place wow and she wants a good logo. She thinks she can teach all 60 designers that have been rejected and I have competed with you all and see that your work is real nice, but this CH is just out of their mind and yes they want the basic cute illustration rather than a minimalistic logo, God sake! I know what you are feeling @rogerweikers time wasted on this project.

Hi,
Our observations so far on the entries: it lacks the start up dynamics; the logos dont convey that message of innovation and start up. Nor the B2B identity.

If we had to make a mix, we would say:
- the brand should have only one color (blue for example and the "fashion" word another complimentary color)
- but the font or graphic should tell it all (start up, unisex, B2B business)
- a logo could be added to give a clue on our activité (i like the hanger idea of #11 and the .com of #18.

If you google "start up logo", you see that the logos do convey such message of innovation, dynamism, youth and b2B:

  We are surprised about reading people complaining about: "oh, you reject my entries or you like this and this" when you have not even came with one question to ask us: that's the first thing to do. Why complain about your ideas being rejected if you didnt even get what we meant?
  
  Now, I am very much surprised you didnt read the message just below....There is a link to the style we want and we did it because we understand your time is precious.
  So far, just #62 reproduced it.
  However: it kept the same colors! We give the sahpe, the style, the idea to help creative people and all we have is exactly a copy paste?....

Please find some feedback and help.....

We have seen too many logos that do not follow the guidelines (did they really read them?...). We may not have been clear enough.

So because we believe your time is as precious as ours, we have done some .word rough drafts to set you on track. Not to be purely reused.

Why we like it?
looks young, more like an internet company. Please make your entries using .com such as Beautiful.com

why we dont like it enough?
The colors dont work though because it uses orange, which is a color that is not liked by males. Remember we want to target unisex and corporate audience.

So what colors should you use?
check why we insist on color, and then from this color, to respect the rules of color combinations.
