We would love to have a logo for our rescue. perhaps something that we can use as our "brand" on things - fliers, fundraisers, fb page, website, eventually on items that we sell. We love celtic knotwork, paw prints, and hearts. We have two designs that we kind of like but they belong to others - we would like something similar but different. We really don't know exactly what we want, but we will know it when we see it. We can provide some examples to give you some ideas and let your imagination go from there. We are a very small rescue, five disabled veterans, an we focus on the large breed dogs primarily. They are the hardest to find forever homes for and they are usually the first ones to be put down in the shelters. We run our rescue on a foster home model - we do not have a facility. Some of our dogs go onto advanced training and become service dogs or therapy dogs and are placed with other disabled veterans or autistic children in need. We do not charge for this so we operate on a shoestring budget. We are on FB out of Statesville, NC. If we had to pick one single breed as our favorites it would be the GSD (German Shepherd Dog) but in all honesty, we love all dogs. We don't turn our backs on the small dogs if we can help them as well. Since all of us are disabled we all make some sort of craft items and sell those at fundraisers to help cover the expenses of vet care, transportation, and everything else dog related for the rescue. Eventually we would like to be able to also use the logo that we select on an embroidery sewing machine so we can add it to our craft projects for sale. We can offer a nice handmade martingale collar to three winners. The Martingale dog collars are tripple lined, they are very fashion forward, they come in widths of 1'", 1 1/2" and 2" and feature artsy fabric. Each winner can choose from the Martingale collars that we have in stock (each collar can fit a dog from 8 inches (adjusted as small as it can go) up to about 25 inches (adjusted as large as it can go - give or take an inch or so). They are very durable and sell regularly for $20 each. We can also offer to feature any dog related artwork on our website, fb page etc. and most certainly give you credit for your creative works beyond what we select as winners of this contest. Please remember that we are trying to save dogs lives and every penny that we get goes towards that purpose. We hope that you will want to help us in your way by contributing your art and accept our Martingale collar as payment and know that you are a part of something very special. Together We Can Make A Difference ! That is our motto and we really believe it. The files attached are different things that we either currently use - the business cards were stock cards - since we do not have a logo yet. The celtic print paw print is a logo for a friends rescue, we absolutely LOVE it but obviously cannot use the same thing. There is a small icone that has a paw print with a heart scroll which is cute and the paw print that has a heart and a GSD's sillouette is also very nice. I am hoping that there will be some creative ideas that we have not thought of that incorporates something of our ideas. We like the B&W, Blues and Purples. We want it to be something that will be able to be worn on t-shirts, hats, mugs, ear warmers, embroidered on personal items and still be recognized as a dog rescue symbol of a sorts. I wanted to THANK everyone who entered the contest. Apparently I cannot just award the four that I wanted . I have been instructed to award (one) winner and then I should be able to see what the other artist had set as the price for me to purchase the remaining ones that I am interested in. I have sent private messages to all four of the FREELANCER Artists that have created the logos that I want. I had intended to award $10 to each and the pick of one of our Martingale collars that we have in stock. You can see our facebook page listed as "For the Love of Dogs Rescue" in Statesville, NC (we are NOT affiliated with a group in Wilson, NC with the same name). #1 We are wanting a logo with some of the elements or all of the elements etc . of celtic knot work, a paw print, a heart in the paw print or part of the paw similar to a heart. If the name "For the Love of Dogs Rescue" can be part of it, smaller that would be great, but the logo or object designed be the primary focus that would be great and more of what we are looking for. I see all or mostly words as being more of a banner and although they are nice, that will be later on down the road. We want to get the graphic / logo / celtic knotwork paw print type of object completed first. Thank You for your time and your effort
