Description:
I am looking for an experienced graphic designer to create a professional full book cover design (front cover, spine, and back cover). An example cover is attached and should serve as a visual reference for the overall style and layout.

THESE DETAILS MUST BE ON THE FRONT COVER:

Titel: CLAAS E. DAUN
Subtitle: Ein Unternehmerleben zwischen Norddeutschland und Südafrika
Author: Malte Daun
Button with the text "B'Day Edition" od "Mit Insider Infos"

It would be great, if the Background of the Front Cover would contain the City of Cape Town, may be the Table Mountain or use Business Autobiography Style!
Please consider for understanding File EXAMPLE 1 and EXAMPLE 2.

Please use one Picture of “FACE” (FACE A or B) for front cover, Picture “PEOPLE” and “BACKGROUND TEXT” for Back Cover

Total size (full spread):
26.54 cm × 20 cm
Layout dimensions:
• Back cover: 12.5 cm
• Spine: 1.54 cm (text must be readable from bottom to top)
• Front cover: 12.5 cm

Design concept (based on the attached example):
Front Cover:
• Please use Picture “FACE” for front cover, feel free to take FACE A or FACE B
• Large, emotional portrait photo as the main visual element
• Soft gradient background, could contain the City of Cape Town, may be the Table Mountain. Or general South Africa, please see examples.
• Title in a clean, elegant serif font
• Optional subtle graphic element (e.g., a round badge for additional note)

Spine:
• Matching gradient consistent with front and back
• Title placed vertically (readable from bottom to top)
• Author name included
• Clear and highly readable typography

Back Cover:
• Calm blue gradient background
• Rear Book Text should contain Content of Word File “BACKGROUND TEXT”
• Rear Book Text should contain Content of JPG File “PEOPLE”
• Left-aligned blurb text
• Smaller embedded photo in the lower section
• Overall professional, serious, biographical tone

Requirements:
• Print-ready file (CMYK, 300 dpi)
• Exact alignment according to the provided measurements
• Bleed included
• Open/editable source file required GIMP File (*.xcf) in addition to print-ready PDF

Budget:
50 EUR (fixed price)
If the collaboration works well, there may be follow-up projects.
