I’m developing an industrial display system that needs to raise and lower a shelf assembly weighing about 500-800kgs. The concept calls for two robust arms that can lift the load smoothly, lock securely, and drop back down without play or vibration. I have already decided on a hydraulic actuation scheme—manual or electric drives are off the table—so the full design should be built around cylinders.

Here’s what I need from you:

• A complete mechanical design of the twin lift arms appropriate for continuous industrial use.

I will handle aesthetic enclosures and electronics separately; your focus is purely the mechanical and hydraulic side. Deliver a design that can be prototyped without re-engineering, and please highlight any critical machining operations or specialty parts so I can budget lead times correctly.

See attached photos, 3d files. there is a space of 150mm either side of the cabinet for the mechanism, when the shelving unit is out, it needs to be as close to the truck as possible. There will be a platform under the shelving unit when it is in the truck for it to rest on.

I have uploaded more files. These are on an option you can use so its top half only, where i need a singular ram in ONE STROKE to lift the box in and ONE STROKE to lift the box out. There is a hatched drawing, this area is the only space you can utilise.
