Contest Brief

I need a professional looking ICON for a Hard Rock Band.

Looking forward to find a nice looking, unique and exiting Icon! A logo on one line is prefered over one on two lines.

The band name is "Electric Haze". Its a band that i made a logo for last year but now they need an update. The band want something that connects to the hard rock bands from the 70s and 80s. Not thin letters with fatter ends that looks like old news paper types! Have seen these tomuch now! =) Angular letters are more wanted than curvy letters.s

They want something monomentual when the letters build up something together as a solid unit.

The logo part must be strong on its own!


Feel free to be creative!


Vision Rise, Intruder, Thunderstorm, Progressive, Vacuum Tubes, Waveforms, Symmetry, Lightning and Out Of The Box thinking.

p.s. No death skull, something trashy or to messy or a copy of something.

    Submission #575 ...I used an '82 Ibanez Destroyer as inspiration to connect the band and the logo to the eighties. I hope you enjoy it and provide feedback.

    To all of you, Read The Contest Description Carefully! The clue to a great logo is there! I see to many curvy letters and logos on to lines etc.

    Read the Contest Description carefully including the attached files. That is an example of a style that the band like. Please no curvy text.

    They prefere a logo on one line instead of two. The letters must be a cleaver bunch of letters that make a strong unit together.

    The logo part must be strong on its own!

    Solid black or white background please.

    The band was NOT satisfied with the outcome with the contest so I had to prolong the contest for a couple of days. Now i really hope to see something nice to show them!
