Contest Brief

I have a finished illustrated story that I want to improve and retouch the four main characters (a tiny girl, her mother, a dog and a cat).

The story is targeted for kids from (2-5 years old). It will have pop-ups, and sensory things (like the fur of the dog)

- the main character is the tiny girl focusing on the fact that she is tiny (petite).

- Once the project is awarded to the selected designer, we will provide the JPGs of all the pages where the characters are in different positions/behaviours so the designer can adjust/improve the characters in the story.

- Once the project is awarded to the selected designer we will provide the illustrator file of the main characters if needed..

- In order to be awarded, the designer/illustrator should retouch/improve at least 2 of the characters in the attached page (the tiny girl, the mom, and/or the cat).

- the story has 7 spreads and a cover page. The tiny girl appears on all spreads and the cover.

P.S you only have to improve the characters and once awarded we will then have another deal to improve the environment in the whole story for another 100$ awarded

can you kindly not really hold on to the existing characters, we want the same feel and style but i would like to see them with improved facial, body and clothes features not only improved colors,,thanks all

  Exactly.. even if the style is required , new characters will have to be drawn if you dont wish to use the old ones.

Is it possible to provide the illustrator file now...that way we can give better output ?Also, can photoshop be used for the changes ? And just to be clear, the prize money will be awarded for the changes in all 4 characters for the 7 pgs and cover pg and not just for the jpg uploaded ??

As i understood how the "contest" works here, that I put the entire project with the entire price for it, and then designers send me a sample of a one page or something then when this designer is awarded he/she gets the full prize will go to him/her after completing the entire project! please correct me if i am wrong!

  $200 for improving all 4 characters. but you only have to show us how you can do any two characters in order for us to select one winner to continue with us. and then we will another deal of $100 for improving the environment

I can understand that your quote is for the full project...As a contest you can reduce the prize to only for character development and make it Guaranteed please...you can chose a winner and award him /her the rest of the project too.
