My name is Simon I run a small chocolate company called Lake Street Chocolate. I am seeking a logo to go on top of the tins that carry the chocolate. Here is a short brief on the work I'm asking for... (The final photo IMG_0374 shows the current logo and how it is used in packaging.)

The Company: Lake Street Chocolate

What we do: Lake Street Chocolate is a small business focused on making high quality chocolate from scratch using fair trade ingredients.

The Product: We make chocolate from scratch that can be eaten as a snack, mixed into coffee, or used to make hot chocolate. The chocolate has a “gritty” texture different than typical chocolate. It has a strong flavor, similar to dark chocolate, but is sweeter than most dark chocolates. The chocolate is positioned as a high end, premium product.

Company Values: We value treating partners ethically and making a high-quality product.

Our customers: Our customers could be described as "grown-up but still having fun." Our customers are mostly older than 25. They are old enough to have jobs, kids, and responsibilities, but they still like to have fun.

Design Parameters: I would like a combination logo that incorporates the company name and some sort of symbol or image.

Potential images: I would like a logo that looks hand drawn. Ornate street signs, cacao pods, the Lake Street bridge, or other items I haven’t thought of.

Font: I prefer serif fonts or script.

Note: I am open to being surprised. If you have an idea different than what is described here please feel free to show me.
