I will not to participate in contests that are not sealed. EVER. Have a unique idea, and comes another guy and change color, go a little form and DONE. Wait to see who is the winner and if that go's from my original idea, this time I will report.

Is Not a great amount for this contest, but it's a matter of common sense and respect the designers.

  So whats below? ah...lets see Its the personal communication I submitted to you directly in response to your concern regarding others taking your idea......maybe you forgot:
  
  addatween, thank you for your entries and yes we have noticed that a few have expounded on your initial concept. We chose not to disqualify for two reasons. 1. theirs have distinct differences (no arguing that you where the first to put the wheel chair inside of the puzzle pieces) and 2. none have yielded a 4 star rating of which only eight will, before we select the 5 star winner.
  As for you and your work. You are a solid artist and offer allot to this process. In fact you are the only artist to 4 three stars. that says something given we don't hand out 3 stars for duplicate works.
  Again, very thankful for your entries.

  Excepted, But at least you should wait until the contest closed. Because creation is not an easy task, it is only only 6 days of time , in which designer understand the requirement as well compete others, most of them want to give different thought... to represent unique from others. Finally you are the CH and you are the final authority to decide who is the winner. I don't think it is required......Pls do not take my opinion otherwise.

This process has helped us to identify a structure that we like. This requires each of your designs to fall within this structure.
The designer referenced for examples did not achieve this structure on his own. This was a request of ours.

Using designer Noc3 design #261 (top only) and #265 (top and bottom) as a reference.
#261 (top illustration only):
- Add space between icon and text
- Letters are to run continuous (heights to remain different)
#265 (icon on both sides of text):
- Create equal spacing between icon and text
- Insert a thin stroke line dividing icon from text (both ways)
Important:
- Height of the letters (stacked or continuous) are not to exceed icon height, excluding "approved"
- Don't change fonts, check marks or icons in any way.
- Use white background only (no exceptions)
Each are to be structured the same. Doing so assists us with uniformed branding across all publications, widths, heights, etc.
Please complete ASAP so that we may get this out for polling :)

Important: Tomorrow 12/17/2012 at 9pm EST (USA) we will select the 8 designs that closely reflect our goal of creating a logo that QUICKLY identify's and/or associates our business with serving the disabled community. Once we have selected the final 8 we will be putting them in a poll and submitting to over 600+ friends, family and clients.
If you have 4 Stars Great News, you are in the final 8 (read below)
Those with 3 Stars have 24 hours to consider final artistic renderings (though not required)
3 and 4 Stars should both consider ways of sharpening up the final drafts before sent out for a vote.

Day 3...... Offered up great suggestions and added the 2nd 4 star rating :)
On another note I'm beginning to notice many duplication's of works prior.
What will get you in the top 8 poll (only 8 will have a 4 star rating) you must Disregard others works and ratings and offer your own SIMPLE creative solution for a visual logo that represents a company that "Identify's Barriers that Limit Access for those with Disabilities".
