Groundline Limited are an Engineering Consultancy that specilises in the design, maintenance and installation of Transmission Lines (think here Steel Lattice Towers that support conductors for electric power transmission) across Australia and New Zealand.

We require a single logo that can be implemented across our business (business cards / stationary / corporate uniforms / safety equipment / vehicles and website).

To encourage creativity and avoid a restrictive brief leave it up to you with respect to style / colours and size.

We envisage the winning entry will incorporate an overhead powerline component or two that can be potentially incorporated alongside the Groundline name.

All options considered and we look forward to reviewing your submission.

    The winner of the contest will be announced in the next hour.
    On a personal note, I'd like to thank you all for your effort and response to my messages. I'd originally decided to only provide feedback on this public clarification board, but then saw the value in responding to requests for feedback. This private feedback (as those that corresponded would attest) was either of a comparative nature when multiple submissions were made or suggesting minor changes to bring it back to the brief. I enjoyed the interaction with the designers (even though somewhat time consuming considering the number) and feel it did give an improved submission and to that I thank you.

    With under 24 hours to go, I wish to thank you all for your efforts. Please feel free to make adjustments and post new stuff until the closing time.
    As we are rapidly approaching closing, and given a heavy workload through tomorrow, I'll not be responding to any messages from here on.
    As mentioned below, I'm not the final arbitrator of the winning design as this will be undertaken by my peers with input from an independent (non freelancer) graphic design consultant.

      Please check 533, 534, 536 and 537..My designs are vector designs, so it can be re-sized to any extend without any distortion of image from 1*1 cm to 1000*1000 cm, any dimension.

    Thanks for all your entries. I've just had a last look through, prior to closing to rate and provide feedback where I can.

    I do not have time to reply to all feedback requests, however I've started to become more critical and have re-rated a number, both up and down.

    All logos will be reviewed by others and the rating is but the first step. I've scored ratings based on adherence (to our pretty open brief), identifying with our market (power transmission) clarity, clean and simplistic as well as applying the logo across many different forms (such as business cards, vehicles, uniforms side of buildings etc).
