    To All - I need to re-organize the logos on the page for my associates to review. It seems that the star ratings are skewing the input. I am changing everyone to 1 star to see if this re-organizes the logos. All of the current logos still in the contest are considered a 4 or a 5! They are great! I will keep you updated. Thanks!

    well, is not the contest closed yet? as in freelancer.com has a condition that if a contest holder doesn't choose winner within 14 days, the contest will be closed forever and the guaranteed money would be distributed among contestants who got most stars? :/

      @dimesatch -- no need to worry - a winner will be chosen before my 14 days are up. As I previously stated, I have several associates who are reviewing the designs and providing me with feedback.

    Anyway, best of luck to all designers, #133 very nice work on it distilledesigns! I like it. Anyway do you guyz no why contests except only JPEG even though it is mentioned you will have to provide Ai or EPS?? I am confused, Am i the only one or is it just common!

      True. Photoshop ain't good to make logos in. Logo should be created in vector - by Corel or Illustrator.

      Simple, easy to copy and catchy. Best wishes for all True Designers ;)

      I know, @zahid freelancer I use illustrator to make logos. But you cant underestimate photoshop, even though with less tools photoshop can also create vector logos! Also the smart object and smart filters in new version and advanced clipping masks provide so many ways of designing better than illustrator, without loosing vector! I think CS6 will close the gap between illustrator and photoshop

    I have eliminated a number of designs. Primary reasons were: 1. Too intricate of a design to embroider on small items 2. Many designs were good, but I did not feel it would be instantly memorable / recognizable. 3. Minor variations in the logo - if you submitted several versions, I narrowed it down. There are still a few logos that are too intricate that I have not eliminated, but I can see how removing some of the elements, it could become embroidery friendly. Thanks!

    I have not been able to review the entries in the past 2 days - except very briefly. Some great designs in this contest and I thank you! I am concerned with integrity of designs. A design MUST be of your own creation and you can not use purchased vectors. I have been reading information regarding copyright and typical licensure usage. Typically, purchased vectors or illustrations can be used in various print and web marketing materials, but can NOT be used in a logo. If you have used any vectors / illustrations that you did not create, please kindly remove that submission. Thank you.

    @CH tlc72, this contest is full of stock vectors which are under paid liscense (nnot creative commons!). for example look at #124, the benches, sand a nd the tropical stuff is from t a paid stock vector given below. you will have to pay nearly $2559 for purchasing it with full liscense for you ie trademark it as logo, better reject them!

    @iqbaldesigns , don't put your fingers on others ,, remember your 4 fingers always on you ,, these are not shutter stock vectors http://www.shutterstock.com/pic.mhtml?id=98890136 ...

    i am amazed ,, how ppl have time for this ?? if you can't better ,, don't stop others ... do your work dude ...
    there are thousands of designs of chair and umbrella ,, if you see closley my umbrella and chair there is big difference between them ...
