You can either do a quick mock up in any format and finish up the project later(PSD) or you can submit the finished project in PSD format.

My website is Ghost Posting Ads, it will be a knowledge base/ product review site where we talk about another website(name & picture of website) we discuss below.
I need a company logo for my website Ghost Posting Ads:
Logo maybe of a simple ghost or something relating to mystery? The site we talk about--- it's very secretive -- not many people know how to use the website.

The three PSDs i would like is the logo, logo + text, and text only.
For example, if you look at freelancer logo:
logo is the bird,
logo + text is bird and the word "freelancer"
Text only is the word "Freelancer"

Font of text should be any shade of white
If you could somehow use a little #800080 in the LOGO it would be nice, but if it does not look pretty --- use different color.

Logo should be SIMPLE and have Flat Design. Text should be in a striking and beautiful typography/font . This font should also be free because my future web designer will need to use it as part of my CSS for the website.

The MORE SIMPLE the better

If i can choose or create a image of natural looking ghost it might look scary and as you have mentioned that logo ghost can't be scary.

I just want a neutral looking ghost. This will be a knowledge base with a target audience of 26-45 yr old men and women. Normal ghost and you can add anything related to C- list
