I’m launching a brand-new trail and ultra-running event that follows the historic Bridle Track between Bathurst and Hill End in NSW. The route is steeped in gold-rush lore yet demands serious grit from anyone who tackles its long, rugged kilometres. I need a modern, edgy visual identity that honours both sides of that story—heritage and toughness—with a clear sense of adventure. The event will take place on Wiradjuri country with the natural terrain and landmarks also playing their part in the story. eg. the track weaves its way between the Macquarie and Turon rivers until they meet at Root Hog crossing. What I’d like from you: • Concept/s for a primary race logo /visual identity in vector format (AI, EPS, SVG) • Supporting colour palette and typography recommendations • Simple mock-ups that show the mark on race bibs, medals, social banners and then how the visual identity can be carried across to merchandise, signage etc - Brand usage guidelines Creative direction Think bold lines, contemporary type and a punchy palette that still hints at the region’s gold-rush past. The finished mark should instantly communicate adventure, strength and resilience while nodding to the history that makes this course special. Acceptance I’ll consider the work complete when the logo & event identity feels equally at home on a finish-line arch and a casual tee, scales cleanly from favicon to billboard and evokes those three key emotions: adventure, strength and heritage.
