Contest — Real-time conversational AI avatar (perfect lip-sync, ultra-light) Context We (Novaia, an AI studio) have built a working prototype of a 3D avatar that talks in real time: the user speaks to it, and the avatar replies with voice and lip synchronization. It works, but we want much better. We're looking for an expert to take it to a professional product level. The goal Starting from a photo we provide, build a real-time conversational avatar that is clearly superior to our current version, across 3 non-negotiable pillars: Perfect lip-sync — phoneme-accurate, natural labial synchronization, with no lag and no jitter. This is criterion #1. Top visual quality — a realistic/polished avatar faithful to the photo, clean rendering, with natural expressions and micro-movements. Ultra-light / universal — must run in the browser, smoothly, on any computer AND mobile (even low-end ones), without a powerful GPU on the user's side and with minimized server costs. Performance and lightness are judged on par with quality. The technical approach is open: it's up to you to propose the best architecture (3D, server-side rendering streamed as video, viseme model, etc.) that reconciles maximum quality with minimal resources. Justify your choices. Contest format (step 1 — for ALL candidates) Before any selection, you must provide: A demo video of the finished product (or of a highly polished prototype) using the photo we provide, showing: the avatar speaking, the lip-sync in close-up, and a real conversation. A short technical note: your approach, the technologies used, the resources required (client + server), and the estimated recurring cost. No video = no selection. We want to see, not promises. Deliverables (step 2 — only if you win the contest) Complete source code (frontend + backend), commented, in a clean Git repository. The generated avatar built from our photo, + the documented pipeline/process to regenerate others from a new photo. The lip-sync engine (and its models/weights if custom), reusable. One-command deployment: containerization (Docker / docker-compose) or clear, reproducible install scripts that work on a fresh machine. Complete documentation: architecture, installation, deployment, and how to change the avatar / voice / language. A working live demo (HTTPS URL) + the demo's source code. Compatibility evidence: tests + screenshots/videos on desktop (Windows/Mac), mobile iOS (Safari) and Android (Chrome). A table of recurring costs (APIs, hosting, GPU if any) and of resources consumed (CPU/RAM/network on the client side). Transfer of commercial exploitation rights to the deliverable (clause to be signed). Post-delivery support: 2 to 4 weeks of bug fixes included. What we provide The source photo of the avatar. Sir, the thing is I am allowed to post only GIF, JPEG, JPG and PNG formats, MP4 format is not allowed! so, what would you suggest how should I send the entry, via GIF? because only it is the closest to a video. Kindly explain!
