Need Cover Design for Upcoming Law Enforcement Print Publication

Contest Brief

The title for this new publication is "Law Enforcement Legal Defense Program Membership Guide".

This contest will need to use our Law Enforcement logo which is attached.

Elements you can choose to use in the design will be a handgun and police badge, crime scenes, legal scales with police badge, gavels, or any applicable image of a police officer from the United States.

Deliverable must be layered and 300dpi for 8.5" x 11" or vector with the same ratio.

Contest is sealed. Please ask any questions you might have.

    I like to design book covers and I have a few questions for you:

    1. What you will want to put on the cover beside the book title and the badge/logo?
    i.e. Author name, book summary or a few ideas about the content of the book on the last cover, bar code, label etc.

    2. How thick will be the book?
    If you don't know the exact measure just tell me the number of the pages and I will calculate it.

    Hello texlaw, I'ld like to introduce myself. My name is Ken, I'm a graphic designer here on Freelancer.com and I wanted to know if the use of images is limited to just the ones you stated in your brief (handgun and police badge, crime scenes, legal scales with police badge, gavels, or any applicable image of a police officer from the United States). Or, if we can use other images such as a fingerprint or something else (nothing too graphic of course). Also, is there any author credits or publisher logos we should think about in the layout (I can just make a blank box for the publisher logo if you will use one after the cover is done)Thank you for your time, Ken
