  I really like the fireworks for the flag on that one. quite nice. The present for "o" in christmas is nice too. Same with the pumpkin for halloween ... easter one i don't care for too much but it's definitely going the right way there.
  
  Halloween - why not make that tree in the background the tree in "y" and just make it spooky.

  Those are definitely in the right direction. I like that they use the same space as the original logo.
  
  They are a little busy though. for halloween, maybe a haunted tree for the "y" ? a full moon and a witch?
  
  4th - banner is good, flag is good and fireworks are good - rest seems a bit much?
  
  easter - eggs should be more subtle? i like the bunny, but there are too many
  
  christmas - i like the idea; a little busy here as well, though.

Dear CH,

I had a few clarifications before submitting my entries to the contest!
1) The same logo should be used and give it a holiday feeling?
2) Can the font's be changed to suit the occasion / Holiday / Season?
3) Will the contest be sealed?

  contest is not sealed; font changed? text shouldn't be necessary ... yes, use the same logo theme and make it a holiday theme.
  
  For instance, halloween seems like a gimme. Change the tree to a haunted tree, make the sky dark, add a moon and a witch and maybe a pumpkin in front of the house.

  not really what im looking for...first off, they expand upon the size of the original logo. i'm trying to keep the same size - and fit the details with that design. I think making the themes text misses the point.
