Contest Description:
UPDATE: 4-14-26. Unfortunately we are not getting any designs that we feel represent our brand. If you have any specific questions you can ask. We’ve received many logo concepts using ‘The Skateboard Club’ text or ‘TSC’ monograms. At this time, we are not looking for text-based or monogram logos. We’re aiming for a more unique, graphic / Icon-driven direction. Please keep this in mind before submitting anything. If anybody copies someone else's work and we decide to use it, we will pick the original/first person to upload designs to work with.

We are running a logo design contest and are looking for talented graphic designers and illustrators to create a clever, professional, and timeless logo for "The Skateboard Club"

The Skateboard Club is school project in hopes to create a premium community and logo skateboarders that will feel welcome to join skateboarding and the community. We want a logo that feels elevated and premium — something that works perfectly on apparel, websites, signage, and social media for the next 10+ years without ever needing a redesign.

Style Guidelines – What We Want:

• Professional, clean, and sophisticated

• Clever and smart ("subtle" skate references are welcome if they’re "not" obvious or cartoonish)

• Timeless design that ages extremely well

• Versatile for both print and digital use

• Modern streetwear energy with a premium feel

Style Guidelines – What We Do NOT Want:

• Corny, cartoonish, childish, or “childish” styles (no big eyes, cartoon boards, goofy characters, complete skateboards showing wheels sticking out the side, etc.)

• Overly generic skate clichés that look dated

• Anything that screams “cheap clip-art” or “logos found on brand crowd or other logo generating sites”

Required Deliverables (Winner Only):

• Full editable Adobe Illustrator (.ai) vector files

• Multiple versions: full color, black only, white only, and grayscale

• All files must be properly organized and layered

Important Contest Rules:

• 100% original work only. AI-generated imagery (Midjourney, DALL-E, Stable Diffusion, etc.) will be immediately disqualified. We will run a google image search to see if logo already exist. Must not be used before or too close to anything else.

• To prove the design is your own work, every entry must include at least one photo or screenshot of your actual design process (hand sketch, work-in-progress screen capture in Illustrator/Photoshop, etc.). Entries without this proof will be ignored.

• Submit your concepts as high-quality image previews (JPG or PNG). The winner will be required to send all source files immediately after selection. All rights, images, likeness, logo identity and intellectual property right shall be turned over to us once contest is over.

We hope this will not disrespect anybody but if your entry has been rejected it mean we do. not want this style or logo.
