Contest Brief

We are a company located in Dubai, UAE. We have a final draft of an HR manual which is to be circulated to our employees. We require proof reading against spelling mistakes, and formatting inconsistency (numbers, punctuation etc.).

The freelancer must be a native English speaker from an country where English is the native language, such as England, Australia etc. We require proof reading against British English, not US English.

The document has 5817 words for your calculation purposes.

The actual document will be released to the candidate winning this project. Editing should be done in word with review document function turned on, so we can review changes and accept or reject.

    Maybe the contest holder wants a lot of people to submit entries and he will select the best one. My question is whether people from non-English speaking countries are eligible if English is their first language, or if they studied English in a native-English speaking country?

    @Sassan11, you can seal the contest first, upload the report, and ask for the first few paragraphs to be checked for errors. Who ever brings it to you first and whoever brings the best work wins and does the rest of the report for you.

    I am unsure how this is supposed to work. I don't think this is really the type of thing you need a contest for, unless you're trying to get the work done for free. Why not post it as a job so that freelancers can apply? I would be happy to do the work but I am not comfortable with the possibility that I may complete it and then not be paid if I don't "win".
